The Nottoway Cougars volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the host Lunenburg Central Chargers to 0 in the Cougars non-league victory on Wednesday.

The Cougars now have a 4-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Prince Edward County for a non-league game on Tuesday, September 26. Nottoway will meet a Eagles team coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Randolph-Henry (Charlotte Court House, VA). The Eagles record now stands at 2-3.

The Chargers (5-1) will now prepare for their game against Cumberland (Cumberland, VA). The Dukes enter the non-league game with a 5-1 record. In their last game, Cumberland dropped by Amelia County (Amelia Court House, VA), 2-0, in a non-league game.
