The La Cueva Bears smashed the visiting West Mesa Mustangs soccer squad by a margin of 4-0 in Thursday's league match.
The Bears now sport a 14-2 record. They play next when they travel to Piedra Vista for a 5A District 2 match on Tuesday, October 17. La Cueva will encounter a Panthers squad coming off a 1-0 league win over Eldorado (Albuquerque, NM). The Panthers record now stands at 9-7.
With the loss, West Mesa drops to 3-13 on the season. The Mustangs travel to Farmington (Farmington, NM) to encounter the Scorpions in a 5A District 2 match on Tuesday, October 17. The Scorpions come into the match with a record of 4-12. Farmington lost 8-1 in their recent league match against Sandia (Albuquerque, NM)
