The crowd at Thursday's league test between the West Stokes Wildcats (King, NC) and the visiting Walkertown Wolfpack (Walkertown, NC), saw West Stokes's soccer squad get by Walkertown by a count of 1-0.

The Wildcats now hold a 11-4 record. They play next when they host Morehead for a Mid-State 2A test on Monday, October 16. West Stokes will meet a Panthers squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to McMichael (Mayodan, NC). The Panthers record now stands at 5-5.

With the loss, Walkertown drops to 0-14 on the season. The Wolfpack travel to Reidsville (Reidsville, NC) to meet the Rams in a Mid-State 2A test on Monday, October 16. The Rams come into the test with a record of 4-4. Reidsville lost 1-0 in their recent league test against West Stokes (King, NC)
