Illinois High School Volleyball - Reed-Custer Coal City

In Thursday's league battle, the host Coal City Coalers volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Reed-Custer Comets.

The Coalers (18-10) will now prepare for their battle against Manteno (Manteno, IL). The Panthers come into the Illinois Central Eight battle with a 10-18 record. In their last battle, Manteno went down by Bishop McNamara (Kankakee, IL), 2-0, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Comets encounter the Herscher Tigers (Herscher, IL) in a Illinois Central Eight test, on Monday, October 16. Reed-Custer will attempt to improve on its 14-15 season record. The Tigers enter the test with a 14-17 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Routt Catholic (Jacksonville, IL).
