The Reed-Custer Comets volleyball team (Braidwood, IL), went down 2-0 in Tuesday's league challenge with the visiting Coal City Coalers (Coal City, IL)

The Coalers (12-9) will now prepare for their challenge against Manteno (Manteno, IL). The Panthers come into the Illinois Central Eight challenge with a 5-10 record. In their last challenge, Manteno went down by Herscher (Herscher, IL), 2-1, in a league challenge.

Next, the Comets encounter the Lisle Lions (Lisle, IL) in a Illinois Central Eight challenge, on Thursday, September 21. Reed-Custer will attempt to move on its 8-8 season record. The Lions come into the challenge with a 5-16 record after their 2-1 league loss to Streator (Streator, IL).
