In Thursday's league contest, the Gray-New Gloucester Patriots (Gray, ME) volleyball squad were winner over the host Lake Region Lakers (Naples, ME), by a margin of 3-1.

Next up, the Patriots battle the Wells Warriors (Wells, ME) in a Class B contest, on Saturday, October 14. Gray-New Gloucester will attempt to better on its 7-5 season record. The Warriors go into the contest with a 2-10 record after their 3-0 league loss to Yarmouth (Yarmouth, ME).

With the loss, Lake Region moves to 6-7 on the year. The Lakers host North Yarmouth Academy (Yarmouth, ME) to battle the Panthers in a non-league contest on Tuesday, October 17. The Panthers go into the contest with a record of 1-11. North Yarmouth Academy lost 3-1 in their recent league contest against Woodland (Baileyville, ME)
