The crowd at Thursday's league bout between the Stanfield Tigers (Stanfield, OR) and the visiting Heppner Mustangs (Heppner, OR), saw Stanfield's volleyball squad beat Heppner by a tally of 3-1.

With the win, Stanfield upgrades its record to 8-12 on the year. The Tigers travel to South Wasco County (Maupin, OR) to play the Redsides in a non-league bout on Friday, October 13. The Redsides go into the bout with a record of 20-9. South Wasco County won 3-0 in their recent league bout against Horizon Christian (Hood River, OR)

The Mustangs now own a 17-7 record. They play next when they travel to Enterprise for a 2A Blue Mountain bout on Saturday, October 14. Heppner will play a Outlaws squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Weston-McEwen (Athena, OR). The Outlaws record now stands at 2-15.
