The Lawrence County Bulldogs (Louisa, KY) volleyball overcame the host Martin County Cardinals (Inez, KY), 3-0 in Thursday's non-league outing.
With the win, Lawrence County upgrades its record to 17-6 on the year. The Bulldogs travel to Betsy Layne (Betsy Layne, KY) to face the Bobcats in a District 58 outing on Monday, October 16. The Bobcats go into the outing with a record of 9-15.
The Cardinals now own a 4-16 record. They play next when they travel to Paintsville for a District 57 outing on Monday, October 16. Martin County will face a Tigers squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Prestonsburg (Prestonsburg, KY). The Tigers record now stands at 25-8.
