The Lincoln High Links volleyball squad (Lincoln, NE), dropped 2-0 in Saturday's non-league battle with the visiting Grand Island Islanders (Grand Island, NE)

With the win, Grand Island improves its record to 23-7 on the season. The Islanders travel to Bellevue East (Bellevue, NE) to encounter the Chieftains in a A District battle on Saturday, October 12. The Chieftains go into the battle with a record of 7-16. Bellevue East lost 3-0 in their recent league battle against Grand Island (Grand Island, NE)

The Links now own a 8-18 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Burke for a A District battle on Tuesday, October 15. Lincoln High will encounter a Bulldogs squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Benson (Omaha, NE). The Bulldogs record now stands at 8-19.
