The Banning Pilots volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the host Narbonne Gauchos to 2 in the Pilots league victory on Thursday.
The Pilots now have a 2-17 record. They put it on the line next when they host Peninsula for a non-league game on Friday, October 14. Banning will meet a Panthers team coming off a 3-2 league loss to Santa Monica (Santa Monica, CA). The Panthers record now stands at 5-11.
The Gauchos (4-8) will now prepare for their game against Bellflower (Bellflower, CA). The Buccaneers enter the non-league game with a 11-13 record. In their last game, Bellflower was nudged by Norwalk (Norwalk, CA), 3-0, in a league game.
