In Friday's league match, the visiting Shasta Wolves football squad scored a close 27-20 victory over the Enterprise Hornets.

In their next game, the Wolves clash with the Pleasant Valley Vikings (Chico, CA) in a Eastern match, on Friday, October 20. Shasta will attempt to move on its 6-1 season record. The Vikings enter the match with a 4-3 record after their 35-0 league loss to Chico (Chico, CA).

The Hornets (4-3) will now prepare for their match against Red Bluff (Red Bluff, CA). The Spartans enter the Eastern match with a 4-3 record. In their last match, Red Bluff was nudged by Foothill (Palo Cedro, CA), 34-6, in a league match.
