The Longview Lobos topped the host Mt. Pleasant Tigers volleyball team by a score of 3-0 in Friday's league test.

The Lobos now have a 17-12 record. They put it on the line next when they host Whitehouse for a 5A Region II District 15 test on Tuesday, October 17. Longview will confront a Wildcats team coming off a 3-2 league loss to Hallsville (Hallsville, TX). The Wildcats record now stands at 29-11.

The Tigers (2-29) will now prepare for their test against Tyler (Tyler, TX). The Lions enter the 5A Region II District 15 test with a 9-29 record. In their last test, Tyler gained a win over Pine Tree (Longview, TX), 3-2, in a league test.
