The Monroe-Woodbury Crusaders topped the visiting Newburgh Free Academy Goldbacks volleyball team by a score of 3-0 in Friday's league test.

The Crusaders now have a 10-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Pine Bush for a Section 9 Orange County I game on Monday, October 16. Monroe-Woodbury will meet a Bushmen team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Middletown (Middletown, NY). The Bushmen record now stands at 16-5.

The Goldbacks (3-11) will now prepare for their game against Marlboro Central (Marlboro, NY). The Dukes enter the non-league game with a 6-6 record. In their last game, Marlboro Central defeated Highland (Highland, NY), 3-0, in a league game.
