The Meadowbrook Monarchs volleyball team (Richmond, VA), was knocked off 3-0 in Monday's non-league contest with the host L.C. Bird Skyhawks (Chesterfield, VA)

The Skyhawks (2-12) will now prepare for their contest against Manchester (Midlothian, VA). The Lancers enter the Dominion contest with a 10-4 record. In their last contest, Manchester was knocked off by James River Midlothian (Midlothian, VA), 3-0, in a league contest.

Next, the Monarchs battle the Colonial Heights Colonials (Colonial Heights, VA) in a Central contest, on Tuesday, October 14. Meadowbrook will attempt to move on its 5-9 season record. The Colonials enter the contest with a 8-6 record after their 3-1 league loss to Thomas Dale (Chester, VA).
