California High School Flag Football - Monta Vista can't hold off Palo Alto

Palo Alto Vikings (Palo Alto, CA) fans went home in high spirits Monday as they saw their flag football team tip the host Monta Vista Matadors (Cupertino, CA), 19-13 in a league battle.

With the win, Palo Alto improves its record to 12-1 on the season. The Vikings host Homestead (Cupertino, CA) to play the Mustangs in a battle on Wednesday, October 15. The Mustangs go into the battle with a record of 7-8. Homestead won 57-0 in their recent league battle against Lynbrook (San Jose, CA)

The Matadors now have a 8-7 record. They play next when they host MacDonald for a battle on Wednesday, October 15. Monta Vista will play a Condor team coming off a 27-0 league loss to Wilcox (Santa Clara, CA). The Condor record now stands at 2-15.
