The Middle Creek Mustangs (Apex, NC) soccer overwhelmed the host Sanderson Spartans (Raleigh, NC), 4-0 in Monday's league challenge.
The Mustangs now hold a 15-1 record. They play next when they travel to Cardinal Gibbons for a Triangle Six 6A/7A challenge on Monday, October 20. Middle Creek will encounter a Crusaders squad coming off a 2-1 league loss to Holly Springs (Holly Springs, NC). The Crusaders record now stands at 4-7.
The Spartans (9-7) will now prepare for their contest against Cary (Cary, NC). The Imps enter the Triangle Six 6A/7A contest with a 9-8 record. In their last contest, Cary by Holly Springs (Holly Springs, NC), 3-0, in a league contest.
