Middle Creek Mustangs (Apex, NC) backers exited the stadium pleased Wednesday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Sanderson Spartans (Raleigh, NC), 7-0 in a league test.

With the triumph, Middle Creek advances its record to 11-1 on the campaign. The Mustangs host Cardinal Gibbons (Raleigh, NC) to clash with the Crusaders in a Triangle Six 6A/7A test on Wednesday, October 1. The Crusaders come into the test with a record of 1-4.

The Spartans now have a 7-4 record. They play next when they host Cary for a Triangle Six 6A/7A outing on Monday, September 29. Sanderson will play a Imps squad coming off a 5-1 league loss to Holly Springs (Holly Springs, NC). The Imps record now stands at 8-4.
