In Monday's league match, the Asheboro Blue Comets (Asheboro, NC) volleyball squad prevailed the visiting Northeast Guilford Rams (McLeansville, NC), by a margin of 3-0.

The Blue Comets now possess a 17-6 record. They play next when they travel to Southeast Guilford for a non-league bout on Tuesday, October 14. Asheboro will clash with a Falcons team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Northern Guilford (Greensboro, NC). The Falcons record now stands at 16-4.

With the loss, Northeast Guilford drops to 5-16 on the campaign.
