In Thursday's league match, the Asheboro Blue Comets (Asheboro, NC) volleyball squad prevailed the visiting Northeast Guilford Rams (McLeansville, NC), by a count of 3-0.

Next up, the Blue Comets confront the Randleman Tigers (Randleman, NC) in a non-league match, on Monday, September 22. Asheboro will attempt to move on its 11-3 season record. The Tigers enter the match with a 12-3 record after their 3-0 league win over T.W. Andrews (High Point, NC).
