Pawnee City Indians (Pawnee City, NE) boosters left the game thrilled Monday as they witnessed their volleyball team overcome the host Sterling Jets (Sterling, NE), 2-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Indians (9-14) will now prepare for their challenge against Lourdes Central Catholic (Nebraska City, NE). The Knights come into the non-league challenge with a 17-9 record. In their last challenge, Lourdes Central Catholic beat Palmyra (Palmyra, NE), 2-1, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Jets face the Southern Raiders (Wymore, NE) in a non-league test, on Tuesday, October 21. Sterling will attempt to advance on its 1-22 season record. The Raiders go into the test with a 8-18 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Diller-Odell (Odell, NE).
