Nevada High School Volleyball - Battle Mountain over Pershing County

Battle Mountain Longhorns (Battle Mountain, NV) supporters left the game in high spirits Friday as they observed their volleyball squad top the visiting Pershing County Mustangs (Lovelock, NV), 2-0 in a league match.

Next up, the Longhorns clash with the Coral Academy of Science - Reno Falcons (Reno, NV) in a match, on Saturday, October 15. Battle Mountain will attempt to advance on its 17-5 season record. The Falcons come into the match with a 5-7 record after their 2-0 league loss to West Wendover (West Wendover, NV).

With the loss, Pershing County drops to 2-6 on the campaign. The Mustangs host Incline (Incline Village, NV) to clash with the Highlanders in a match on Friday, October 21. The Highlanders come into the match with a record of 7-2.
