In Saturday's non-league battle, the host Battle Mountain Longhorns volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Pershing County Mustangs.
The Longhorns (9-2) will now prepare for their battle against Wendover (Wendover, UT). The Wildcats come into the non-league battle with a 0-3 record. In their last battle, Wendover lost by Manila (Manila, UT), 2-0, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Mustangs clash with the Silver Stage Nighthawks (Silver Springs, NV) in a battle, on Saturday, September 10. Pershing County will attempt to advance on its 0-1 season record.
