The Waltrip Rams volleyball team (Houston, TX), went down 3-0 in Friday's league challenge with the visiting Carnegie Vanguard Rhinos (Houston, TX)

The Rhinos (19-11) will now prepare for their challenge against Sterling (Houston, TX). The Raiders enter the 5A Region III District 19 challenge with a 1-8 record. In their last challenge, Sterling went down by Milby (Houston, TX), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Rams encounter the Madison Marlins (Houston, TX) in a 5A Region III District 19 challenge, on Tuesday, October 18. Waltrip will attempt to move on its 7-8 season record. The Marlins enter the challenge with a 14-6 record after their 3-0 league loss to Galena Park (Galena Park, TX).
