The crowd at Tuesday's league bout between the Carnegie Vanguard Rhinos (Houston, TX) and the visiting Waltrip Rams (Houston, TX), saw Carnegie Vanguard's volleyball squad beat Waltrip by a tally of 3-0.

With the win, Carnegie Vanguard upgrades its record to 12-9 on the year. The Rhinos travel to Milby (Houston, TX) to play the Buffs in a 5A Region III District 19 bout on Tuesday, September 20. The Buffs go into the bout with a record of 15-5.

The Rams now own a 3-4 record. They play next when they host Madison for a 5A Region III District 19 bout on Friday, September 16. Waltrip will play a Marlins squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Galena Park (Galena Park, TX). The Marlins record now stands at 7-4.
