The Maxwell Bears volleyball team (Maxwell, NM), went down 3-0 in Friday's league challenge with the host Springer Red Devils (Springer, NM)
The Red Devils (12-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Roy/Mosquero (Roy, NM). The Blue or Lady Blue enter the 1A District 5 challenge with a 13-4 record. In their last challenge, Roy/Mosquero defeated Cimarron (Cimarron, NM), 3-0, in a league challenge.
Next, the Bears clash with the Wagon Mound Trojans (Wagon Mound, NM) in a 1A District 5 battle, on Thursday, October 20. Maxwell will attempt to advance on its 2-12 season record. The Trojans come into the battle with a 1-11 record after their 3-0 league loss to Cimarron (Cimarron, NM).
