The Maxwell Bears volleyball team (Maxwell, NM), went down 3-0 in Saturday's league challenge with the visiting Springer Red Devils (Springer, NM)
The Red Devils (16-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Roy/Mosquero (Roy, NM). The Blue or Lady Blue go into the 1A District 5 bout with a 18-4 record. In their last bout, Roy/Mosquero notched a victory over Cimarron (Cimarron, NM), 3-1, in a league bout.
The Bears now own a 3-15 record. They play next when they travel to Wagon Mound for a 1A District 5 bout on Wednesday, November 2. Maxwell will play a Trojans squad coming off a 3-1 league loss to Roy/Mosquero (Roy, NM). The Trojans record now stands at 2-11.
