The Kohala Cowboys football team (Kapaau, HI), was beaten 24-0 in Saturday's league challenge with the visiting Hawaii Prep Ka Makani (Kamuela, HI)
The Ka Makani (7-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Kamehameha Hawai'i (Kea'au, HI). The Warriors come into the Big Island II challenge with a 10-0 record. In their last challenge, Kamehameha Hawai'i achieved victory over Ka'u (Pahala, HI), 50-8, in a league challenge.
The Cowboys now sport a 0-9 record. They take the field next when they travel to Pahoa for a non-league challenge on Friday, October 20. Kohala will meet a Daggers team coming off a 35-6 non-league loss to Honoka'a (Honoka'a, HI). The Daggers record now stands at 2-7.
