The Kohala Cowboys football team (Kapaau, HI), was tipped 18-14 in Saturday's league challenge with the host Hawaii Prep Ka Makani (Kamuela, HI)
The Ka Makani (3-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Kamehameha Hawai'i (Kea'au, HI). The Warriors come into the Big Island II challenge with a 5-0 record. In their last challenge, Kamehameha Hawai'i nipped Ka'u (Pahala, HI), 49-6, in a league challenge.
The Cowboys now sport a 0-4 record. They take the field next when they host Pahoa for a non-league challenge on Saturday, September 16. Kohala will meet a Daggers team coming off a 45-6 non-league loss to Honoka'a (Honoka'a, HI). The Daggers record now stands at 1-3.
