The La Cueva Bears topped the visiting Piedra Vista Panthers volleyball team by a score of 2-0 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Bears now have a 8-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Sandia for a non-league test on Wednesday, October 18. La Cueva will confront a Matadors team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Eldorado (Albuquerque, NM). The Matadors record now stands at 8-2.
The Panthers (4-1) will now prepare for their test against West Mesa (Albuquerque, NM). The Mustangs enter the non-league test with a 2-8 record. In their last test, West Mesa was knocked off by Farmington (Farmington, NM), 2-0, in a non-league test.
