The Orange Panthers held off the host Cedar Ridge Fighting Red Wolves soccer team by a tally of 1-0 in Monday's league game.
Next, the Panthers face the Person Rockets (Roxboro, NC) in a Central 3A game, on Wednesday, October 16. Orange will attempt to advance on its 10-4 season record. The Rockets come into the game with a 2-7 record after their 9-0 league loss to Western Alamance (Elon, NC).
The Fighting Red Wolves (5-7) will now prepare for their game against Eastern Alamance (Mebane, NC). The Eagles come into the Central 3A game with a 1-11 record. In their last game, Eastern Alamance was nipped by Williams (Burlington, NC), 10-2, in a league game.
