The Orange Panthers soccer squad scored 6 points and held the visiting Cedar Ridge Fighting Red Wolves to 1 in the Panthers league victory on Thursday.

The Panthers now hold a 12-4 record. They play next when they travel to Southern Alamance for a Central 3A bout on Monday, October 21. Orange will play a Patriots squad coming off a 6-0 non-league loss to Southeast Alamance (Haw River, NC). The Patriots record now stands at 3-13.

With the loss, Cedar Ridge moves to 6-8 on the year. The Fighting red wolves host Western Alamance (Elon, NC) to play the Warriors in a Central 3A bout on Monday, October 21. The Warriors go into the bout with a record of 16-1. Western Alamance won 3-1 in their recent league bout against Williams (Burlington, NC)
