In Monday's league outing, the host Rosewood Eagles soccer squad scored a tight 5-1 win over the Union Spartans.
The Eagles (3-8) will now prepare for their outing against Neuse Charter (Smithfield, NC). The Cougars enter the Carolina 1A outing with a 5-11 record. In their last outing, Neuse Charter by Hobbton (Newton Grove, NC), 9-0, in a league outing.
Next, the Spartans battle the North Duplin Rebels (Calypso, NC) in a Carolina 1A contest, on Wednesday, October 16. Union will attempt to upgrade on its 2-14 season record. The Rebels enter the contest with a 1-5 record after their 2-0 league loss to Lakewood (Roseboro, NC).
