In Wednesday's league contest, the Rosewood Eagles (Goldsboro, NC) soccer team edged the host Union Spartans (Rose Hill, NC), by a count of 4-3.
Next, the Eagles face the Neuse Charter Cougars (Smithfield, NC) in a Carolina 1A contest, on Monday, September 30. Rosewood will attempt to upgrade on its 2-5 season record. The Cougars enter the contest with a 3-8 record after their 5-0 league loss to Hobbton (Newton Grove, NC).
