The Staley Falcons softball team scored 16 runs and held the visiting Lee's Summit North Broncos to 6 in the Falcons non-league win on Monday.

The Falcons now sport a 10-22 record. They put it on the line next when they host Park Hill for a Class 4 District 16 battle on Tuesday, October 15. Staley will confront a Trojans team coming off a 11-10 non-league win over Fort Osage (Independence, MO). The Trojans record now stands at 23-7.

With the loss, Lee's Summit North moves to 9-26 on the season. The Broncos host Grain Valley (Grain Valley, MO) to confront the Eagles in a non-league battle on Tuesday, October 15. The Eagles come into the battle with a record of 30-2. Grain Valley won 10-0 in their recent non-league battle against Blue Springs (Blue Springs, MO)
