With the win, Abramson improves its record to 12-4 on the season. The Commodores host Kennedy (New Orleans, LA) to encounter the Cougars in a Division III District 8 test on Tuesday, October 15. The Cougars go into the test with a record of 5-6. Kennedy won 3-2 in their recent non-league test against L.W. Higgins (Marrero, LA)

The Tigers now own a 4-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Doyle for a Division IV District 7 test on Tuesday, October 15. Independence will encounter a Tigers squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Pine (Franklinton, LA). The Tigers record now stands at 14-11.
