The Eagles (4-13) will now prepare for their contest against Hillcrest Academy (Kalona, IA). The Ravens enter the non-league contest with a 11-4 record. In their last contest, Hillcrest Academy was tipped by Winfield-Mt. Union (Winfield, IA), 3-1, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Tigerhawks battle the Lynnville-Sully Hawks (Sully, IA) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, October 17. Colfax-Mingo will attempt to move on its 8-12 season record. The Hawks enter the contest with a 8-18 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to English Valleys (North English, IA).
