In Monday's league challenge, the host Colfax-Mingo Tigerhawks volleyball team scored a 3-0 victory over the Keota Eagles.
The Tigerhawks (6-11) will now prepare for their challenge against English Valleys (North English, IA). The Bears enter the non-league challenge with a 7-16 record. In their last challenge, English Valleys beat B-G-M (Brooklyn, IA), 3-1, in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Eagles meet the Montezuma Braves (Montezuma, IA) in a challenge, on Tuesday, October 8. Keota will attempt to upgrade on its 3-10 season record. The Braves enter the challenge with a 10-11 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Lynnville-Sully (Sully, IA).
