The Lake Weir Hurricanes volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the host North Marion Colts to 0 in the Hurricanes non-league triumph on Monday.

The Hurricanes now have a 10-8 record. They play next when they travel to Santa Fe for a non-league outing on Tuesday, October 15. Lake Weir will play a Raiders team coming off a 3-2 non-league loss to St. John Lutheran (Ocala, FL). The Raiders record now stands at 17-7.

With the loss, North Marion drops to 3-16 on the campaign.
