Lake Weir Hurricanes (Ocala, FL) boosters left the game thrilled Monday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host North Marion Colts (Citra, FL), 3-0 in a league test.

With the win, Lake Weir improves its record to 9-5 on the season. The Hurricanes host Interlachen (Interlachen, FL) to encounter the Rams in a non-league test on Tuesday, October 1. The Rams go into the test with a record of 10-4.

The Colts now own a 2-13 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Wildwood for a non-league test on Wednesday, October 2. North Marion will encounter a Wildcats squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Chiefland (Chiefland, FL). The Wildcats record now stands at 0-12.
