Scituate Spartans (North Scituate, RI) backers exited the stadium pleased Tuesday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Smithfield Sentinels (Esmond, RI), 8-1 in a league test.

With the triumph, Scituate advances its record to 12-1 on the campaign. The Spartans host North Providence (North Providence, RI) to clash with the Cougars in a Division 2 test on Thursday, October 16. The Cougars come into the test with a record of 11-3.
