North Carolina High School Volleyball - Alexander Central over South Caldwell

Fans at Tuesday's non-league contest between the Alexander Central Cougars (Taylorsville, NC) and the visiting South Caldwell Spartans (Hudson, NC), observed Alexander Central's volleyball team top South Caldwell by a count of 3-0.

The Cougars (16-6) will now prepare for their contest against Watauga (Boone, NC). The Pioneers enter the non-league contest with a 22-1 record. In their last contest, Watauga achieved victory over St. Stephens (Hickory, NC), 3-0, in a non-league battle.

The Spartans now own a 12-9 record.
