Amherst Broncos (Amherst, NE) boosters left the game thrilled Tuesday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Ansley/Litchfield Spartans (Ansley, NE), 3-0 in a non-league test.

With the win, Amherst improves its record to 21-5 on the season. The Broncos travel to Overton (Overton, NE) to encounter the Eagles in a non-league challenge on Thursday, October 16. The Eagles enter the challenge with a record of 24-2. Overton won 3-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Sumner-Eddyville-Miller (Sumner, NE)

Next, the Spartans meet the Sumner-Eddyville-Miller Mustangs (Sumner, NE) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, October 16. Ansley/Litchfield will attempt to upgrade on its 21-5 season record. The Mustangs enter the challenge with a 17-6 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Overton (Overton, NE).
