Fans at Tuesday's non-league contest between the Berea Pirates (Berea, KY) and the host Harlan Green Dragons (Harlan, KY), observed Berea's volleyball team top Harlan by a tally of 2-0.

The Pirates (10-9) will now prepare for their test against Owsley County (Booneville, KY). The Owls / Lady Owls go into the non-league test with a 0-17 record. In their last test, Owsley County was defeated by Buckhorn (Buckhorn, KY), 3-0, in a non-league test.

The Green Dragons now own a 6-22 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Middlesboro for a District 52 test on Wednesday, October 15. Harlan will face a Yellowjackets squad coming off a 3-2 non-league loss to Oneida Baptist Institute (Oneida, KY). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 7-14.
