Texas High School Volleyball - Mansfield Summit Burleson

Burleson Elks (Burleson, TX) boosters left the game thrilled Tuesday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Mansfield Summit Jaguars (Arlington, TX), 3-1 in a league challenge.

The Elks (17-15) will now prepare for their challenge against Seguin (Arlington, TX). The Cougars enter the 5A Region I District 8 challenge with a 1-22 record. In their last challenge, Seguin was beaten by Joshua (Joshua, TX), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Jaguars meet the Mansfield Timberview Wolves (Arlington, TX) in a 5A Region I District 8 challenge, on Friday, October 17. Mansfield Summit will attempt to upgrade on its 10-26 season record. The Wolves enter the challenge with a 13-22 record after their 3-1 league loss to Cleburne (Cleburne, TX).
