Texas High School Volleyball - Burleson over Mansfield Summit

In Friday's league challenge, the host Burleson Elks volleyball team scored a 3-1 triumph over the Mansfield Summit Jaguars.

The Elks now have a 11-14 record. They play next when they host Seguin for a 5A Region I District 8 outing on Tuesday, September 23. Burleson will confront a Cougars squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Joshua (Joshua, TX). The Cougars record now stands at 1-15.

The Jaguars (7-20) will now prepare for their game against Mansfield Timberview (Arlington, TX). The Wolves go into the 5A Region I District 8 game with a 10-17 record. In their last outing, Mansfield Timberview was topped by Cleburne (Cleburne, TX), 3-2, in a league outing.
