Texas High School Volleyball - La Joya overwhelmed by Edinburg

Edinburg Bobcats (Edinburg, TX) boosters left the game satisfied Tuesday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting La Joya Coyotes (La Joya, TX), 3-0 in a league test.

With the win, Edinburg improves its record to 27-14 on the season. The Bobcats travel to Economedes (Edinburg, TX) to meet the Jaguars in a 6A Region IV District 31 challenge on Saturday, October 18. The Jaguars come into the challenge with a record of 7-18. Economedes lost 3-0 in their recent league challenge against Pharr-San Juan-Alamo (San Juan, TX)

Next, the Coyotes meet the Edinburg North Cougars (Edinburg, TX) in a 6A Region IV District 31 test, on Saturday, October 18. La Joya will attempt to advance on its 11-17 season record. The Cougars go into the test with a 17-15 record after their 3-0 league loss to Weslaco (Weslaco, TX).
