Texas High School Volleyball - Edinburg winner over La Joya

Edinburg Bobcats (Edinburg, TX) backers were pleased Saturday as they witnessed their volleyball team overcome the host La Joya Coyotes (La Joya, TX), 3-0 in a league test.

With the win, Edinburg advances its record to 23-13 on the season. The Bobcats host Economedes (Edinburg, TX) to face the Jaguars in a 6A Region IV District 31 test on Tuesday, September 30. The Jaguars go into the test with a record of 7-13. Economedes lost 3-0 in their recent league test against Pharr-San Juan-Alamo (San Juan, TX)

The Coyotes now sport a 10-13 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Edinburg North for a 6A Region IV District 31 test on Tuesday, September 30. La Joya will face a Cougars squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Weslaco (Weslaco, TX). The Cougars record now stands at 15-12.
