The Wildcats enter the contest with a record of 9-15. Walker lost 3-0 in their recent league battle against St. Amant (St. Amant, LA)

The Tigers now own a 4-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to St. Helena College and Career Academy for a Division IV District 7 battle on Thursday, October 16. Independence will encounter a Hawks squad coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Mentorship Academy (Baton Rouge, LA). The Hawks record now stands at 1-14.
