The Mildred Eagles edged the visiting North Hopkins Panthers volleyball squad by a final score of 3-2 in Tuesday's non-league game.

Next up, the Eagles confront the Cayuga Wildcats (Cayuga, TX) in a 2A Region III District 21 game, on Friday, October 17. Mildred will attempt to better on its 26-9 season record.

With the loss, North Hopkins drops to 35-6 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Como-Pickton (Como, TX) to play the Eagles in a 2A Region II District 12 outing on Friday, October 17. The Eagles come into the outing with a record of 26-11. Como-Pickton won 3-0 in their recent league outing against Yantis (Yantis, TX)
