Palestine Wildcats (Palestine, TX) supporters left the game in high spirits Friday as they observed their volleyball squad top the visiting Rusk Eagles (Rusk, TX), 3-0 in a league match.

Next up, the Wildcats clash with the Jasper Bulldogs (Jasper, TX) in a 4A Region III District 17 match, on Tuesday, October 19. Palestine will attempt to advance on its 16-16 season record. The Bulldogs come into the match with a 5-10 record after their 3-0 league loss to Carthage (Carthage, TX).

With the loss, Rusk drops to 18-16 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Center (Center, TX) to clash with the Roughriders in a 4A Region III District 17 match on Tuesday, October 19. The Roughriders come into the match with a record of 9-20. Center lost 3-0 in their recent league match against Palestine (Palestine, TX)
